4. Whatever you can automate, automate. There are lots of tools available which you can assist you with this. Automating mundane and tedious tasks will save you time which you could better use on working more pressing issues and driving your business.
5. Group similar tasks together. The idea here is to reduce redundancy. For example, if you’re submitting ads to different ezines, it’s more efficient to do them at one go.
6. Start off with time-consuming tasks that can be left to process unattended. Let these run in the background while you’re handling other smaller tasks. For instance, you could publish your website while answering emails.
You’ll soon notice that many of the tasks you’re performing on a daily basis are repetitive in nature. As you go along, you’ll find yourself establishing some sort of routine that will pull everything together quite nicely.
But as your business grows, you may find yourself marketing more, managing more websites and customers, or entering into new business ventures. Expect your work routine to change over time as your business changes.
Don’t get stuck in the rut doing things the way you’ve always done them. Revisit your routine now and then. See if there’s a better or quicker way to do something. Test out different ways of doing something. Finetune your routine to even greater efficiency.
