Reader’s Review: I read this book cover to cover in about three days. I have used the knowledge I've gained to grow my own business. I also share the information with my accounting and consulting clients to help them grow their businesses. The book is very readable and the methods are definitely "real world". One of the many useful topics is finding a marketing strategy that works for you. Many people find cold calling an excruciating way to get new business. This book provides a wide range of marketing activities that are much less painful and more effective. If you want to grow your business, this book is a great investment. For me, it more than paid for itself within a week.

Reader’s Review: I thought this book gave a lot of great tips about starting and maintaining a home business. It has helped me succeed in what I do, and I truly beleive that anyone can work at home. Go for it! It's well worth the investment!
The authors, business writers (e.g, Finding Your Perfect Work, Tarcher, 1998) and popular hosts of a radio and a TV show, revise and expand this fifth edition of a super resource that responds to the rapidly increasing work-at-home population, estimated at over seven and a half million. Now tightly integrated with Internet resources, the book covers many highly useful topics, including choosing at-home work as a way of life, outfitting and equipping a home office, managing an office and oneself while working at home, and how to price a product or service and sell the home business. The section on legal advice regarding taxes, insurance, liability, and permits is alone worth the purchase for anyone considering or already involved in making a living from home. With increasing access to information via the Internet and rapidly evolving electronic commerce, more people are taking the plunge and leaving the nine-to-five routine.
